64 Chevelle SEMA Build – Body Meets Frame

Now that the body is ready with Line-X underneath and sound deadening done inside, it is time to mate the body and the frame.  Now that she is a roller we can move on to the next steps getting it put back together.

64 Chevelle SEMA build – Line-X under the body

Closer to joining the frame and body together.  We put the body on the lift so we can have Tri-Valley Line-X come out to spray the underside of the car.  It turned out amazing!  Now it has serious protection underneath and will make the powdercoated frame pop even more.

64 Chevelle SEMA build – sound deadener

Now that the body is ready to go on the frame it is time to make it quiet.  We laid out rolls of FatMat and sealed the whole interior.  Sound Deadener plays a vital role and is a crucial enhancement you can make to your vehicle to seal out the road noise.

64 Chevelle for SEMA gets New Headlights

We would like to thank JW Speaker for their contribution to our SEMA build.  We are looking forward to installing our LED headlights (hi/low and high beam).  They will light things up for us and look amazing on the car.  Thanks again and keep an eye out for more progress.

New Shoes

We would like to thank American Racing and Nitto tires for their help on the SEMA build.  American Racing provided us with VF499 wheels in 19×8 and 20×10, painted black and machined for the Chevelle.  Nitto wrapped them with 555’s in 245/35/19 and 285/30/20 rubber.  As you can see they look amazing.
